Tokyo Jindaiji Life – Introduction
===================
This time, we have launched a new category called “Tokyo Jindaiji Life.”
Up until now, “Jindaiji Saruku” has mainly shared walks and observations around Jindaiji Temple and Jindai Botanical Garden. Inspired by those experiences, I also began enjoying small-scale gardening on my own balcony at home.
I have had opportunities to experience plants and garden culture overseas, and I was deeply inspired by the diversity of plants and their role in people’s lives. Building on that experience, I continue to grow houseplants and various plants on my small balcony in Tokyo, exploring creative ways unique to limited spaces.
In this category, I plan to share these everyday gardening attempts—along with small discoveries and even failures. How to make the most of houseplants indoors, which materials are useful for balcony gardening, and which plants thrive in hydroponics—I hope to provide readers with practical hints that can enrich their own daily lives.
In addition, inspired by plants I encounter locally, I will also introduce famous flower spots across Japan and the charm of seasonal plants throughout the year. Starting with Jindai Botanical Garden, I aim to share information about roses, cherry blossoms, chrysanthemums, autumn foliage, and more—so the articles may also serve as a reference for enjoying seasonal trips.
